Laravel and PHP hosting in India: what you need and how to deploy

Short answer

HostRob runs Laravel, CodeIgniter and plain PHP apps in isolated containers in Mumbai with PHP 7.4 to 8.3, MySQL 8 with phpMyAdmin, SSH and SFTP. Upload your code, run Composer and migrations over SSH, point your domain with an A record, and SSL is issued automatically. Plans start at ₹299 a month, billed with GST invoices.

What a Laravel app needs

  • PHP 8.1 or newer for current Laravel versions
  • A MySQL or PostgreSQL database
  • SSH access for composer install and php artisan migrate
  • A web root pointing at public/
  • Somewhere to run the queue worker and the scheduler

Deploy on HostRob

  1. Create a PHP container in the panel and a database from the Databases tab.
  2. Upload the project by SFTP or ZIP upload, or pull it from Git over SSH.
  3. Over SSH: composer install --no-dev, set .env, then php artisan key:generate and php artisan migrate --force.
  4. Point your domain with an A record; SSL is automatic.

SSH to your container only works from the IP address registered on your account; update it in the panel if your IP changes.

Yes, phpMyAdmin is included for MySQL databases on every plan.
